In the year of environment, Gabbiani & Associati attends the big workshop of town upgrading focused on the specific needs of the Local Public Administration, Urban Solutions, from Mai 26th to 30th, 2009, at the FieraMilano, at Pero - Rho. Pavilion nr. 14.
Inside the shows LivinLuce and EnerMotive 2009, Urban Solutions stages a park - square, where the efficiency of light and energy are the main features of space.
The exhibition path is worked out in order to emphasize the widest range of available solutions on the lighting-technique and energy plane by means of lit corners and compound volumes. Moreover, a meeting - workshop room offers in-depth studies, debate and confrontation moments among leading persons of the field.
The five topics allow a critical reading of the planning proposal exhibited: architecture, urban and extra-urban planning; town design and facilities; plants and technologies; urban culture.
In this context, Gabbiani & Associati illustrates on Mai 29th at 11.45 am, two multipurpose complexes realized in the province of Verona: the reclamation of the former sugar refinery of Legnago and the Shopping Centre Verona Uno at San Giovanni Lupatoto.
From the macro to the micro scale, the topic of light can lead the plan toward the realization of comfortable rooms for the wellbeing of users. The more or less natural context, both indoor and outdoor, can comprehend in its architecture the language to make areas familiar, safe and nice. Light and the study tightly bound to the light of color and surfaces, help featuring and making recognizable in "natural" way rooms and functions.
Urban Solutions confirms the presence of outstanding names of Italian and international architecture: many architects attend at the exhibition and expose their projects.
