Porta Nova is pleased to present Musici Itineranti, a music series organised by Società del Quartetto and the Comune di Vicenza, which will bring 14 musicians from the Iván Fischer European Orchestra Academy to perform throughout the city of Vicenza from 3rd to 6th June.

Most of the concerts are free of charge, while some will require a paid ticket. Performances will take place in a variety of venues, including the Church of Santa Maria Nova, the courtyards of Palazzo Thiene, Palazzo Trissino, and Palazzo San Giacomo, as well as Villa Valmarana ai Nani, private residences, schools, bars, and other local spaces.

The European Orchestra Academy is an innovative institution of advanced musical training that welcomes young musicians from all over Europe. In addition to developing musical talent, the Academy aims to cultivate a new generation of creative and socially responsible artists - leaders capable of sharing the beauty and emotional power of music with people of all ages, from children to residents of care homes.
