The intervention involves the renovation of a building from the 1950s, which houses some prestigious apartments, located in the historic center of Vicenza, overlooking the square of the Araceli Church, a work attributed to Guarini.
The project is designed to create a relationship between the building and the surrounding environment, through a limited number of operations: the variation in the shape of the windows to bring them closer to the proportions of the traditional holes of the historic center, the lowering of the eaves limit, the resizing of the terraces on the façade, the lightening of the top floor, obtained by increasing the glazed surface and restoring the roof to a more regular shape.
