The project involves the recovery of the abandoned and degraded industrial area of the former Eridania sugar factory by welding it to the historic center of Legnago to create a sustainable city, which seeks development in the offer of services, cultural growth and environmental qualities.
The recovery plan is divided into two areas, commercial in the west and residential and services in the east, separated by a diagonal urban axis. The fulcrum of the project is the "urban square", located between the two compartments, from which the whole composition radiates.
The area parallel to the railway hosts a park that connects with a green path to the public spaces and the existing municipal park.
