Gian Antonio Golin's thematic exhibition sees different expressive forms such as painting, sculpture, poetry, video-art and acting, forming a dynamic whole with strong tensions.
The protagonists of the myth emerge from the dense materiality of the paintings, dramatically imprisoned in a network of bonds, faults and the will for redemption.
The set-up rhythms the exhibition space according to a gradualness that is not only narrative and thematic, but also psychological and emotional. The sequence of the paintings, established with the author, determines the development of spaces and paths by expanding and compressing the passages, varying the height of the rooms, physically reproducing the meanders of an ancient building and the tormented struggle of the characters against the constraints of guilt and shame.
At the height of the exhibition, stripped of the layering of materials, Medea and Giasone fully rediscover the body figure, movement and voice, in the video installation produced by La Casa dei Santi.
